In many cases, a constant voltage source inverter having a frequency of 400㎐ is used in a transportation device such as an aircraft and a ship. In such a high frequency constant voltage source inverter, it is difficult to generate high quality power because the number of times of switching within one cycle is small due to a low frequency modulation index. In addition, when a low-pass filter for removing noise is used for measurement of a high frequency voltage and current, it is difficult to design a controller having characteristics robust to dead time compensation and load variation due to a large phase delay. Therefore, various studies were conducted on a controller which is robust against high quality power generation and load variation within a limited modulation index.
In this study, we propose a new multi-pointer low pass filter structure for accurate waveform measurement of high frequency voltage and current without phase delay. Using the proposed method, the output voltage and current of the 400㎐ constant voltage source inverter is measured with the low pass filter. The output voltage of high quality is realized by the dead time compensation of the inverter using the high precision detection current. In addition, the dual controller is proposed to form the rated current even under the load variation such as short circuit, and the robustness of the controller is realized. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed method, we analyze the dynamic characteristics of the circuit using psim and prove the validity of the proposed circuit through experiments.
