Peptides present in almost all organisms have important functions such as anticancer, antidiabetic, and antioxidant, as well as promotion of cell proliferation, migration, and hair growth, which can be used in health-promoting food or functional foods. Various peptides can be obtained from insects, but their functions are still being studied. In this study, we investigated the effect of insect-derived peptides on the proliferation of Hanwoo satellite cells (HWSCs).
